How is the business going to look like this Christmas?

With the Christmas season around the corner, is the business industry ready for the rush?

As the CEO of the British Independent Retailers Association (BIRA), Andrew Goodacre, highlights that online shopping in the last 18 months has more than doubled its share of retail sales. The Christmas season is going to be great for big businesses.

Businesses planned to boost sales and fulfill customers’ needs, especially stock quantities. Because as the needs will rise, there will be a commotion in the market, and to make things manageable, businesses planned beforehand for any least likely problems and were ready with the backup plans.

As pandemic plays a significant role in businesses worldwide, orders take longer than usual to be delivered, threatening companies’ policies.

So different pre-order sales took place concerning the phrase,’ Limited time offer,’ so that customers places order ahead of time, and companies would have less pressure to handle during the peak festive times.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday dropped by about 28.3% of the total revue. Compared to 2020, American sales reached $8.9 billion on Black Friday deals and approximately $10.7 billion on Cyber Monday. Compared to 2020, wherein $9 billion on Black Friday and $10.8 billion on Cyber Monday, in 2020.

The numbers provide even more significant evidence that the holiday season for Americans began shopping as early as October this year. So seeing the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales drop down, is this year Boxing day/Christmas sales going to shoot up?

Prediction says that boxing day sales are going to be beneficial for the retailers and big businesses, but small businesses will still struggle because of the rise in omicron variant due to which increase in restrictions throughout Canada.

So people will still give a second thought about going out and buying products. Which indirectly says that e-commerce is going to flourish until the pandemic is settled. But whichever way we go, e-commerce is trying to give you the best of the best deals for you to save up this Christmas.
